Review #Final : All in One =D

Bismillahirahmanirahim. Finally, after four months two weeks, all the draft had been posted to the blog *such a procrastinator person Niri =_=' * I don't know why I just love posted it one shot rather than bit by bit eventhough according to the date, it is back to February for the first review.

Basically here are summarize of my solemnization journey;-

1) Our solemnization date (13/11/12) been chose by MIS himself because it have been a year and four months after he asked me to be his wife. He said he want that number 13 a significant to us.

2) It is also for my belated birthday's (03/11) gift. *The greatest gift so far, Syukur Alhamdulillah.*

3) MIS forbid me from wearing a heavy make up. I asked him why, he said that he didn't want to married to another person that he have known before, just make it natural as possible.

4) Supposedly our solemnization during night time but changed it to morning since there are some circumstances. Yet I really glad of it because everything went well.

5) All the preparation for it are only takes approximate two months, from A-Z done by my parents and I.

Review #8 : Credits

Bismillahirahmanirahim. Alhamdulillah, eventhough it is only four months of us being together, I still can't stop being thankful to all that involves in my solemnization.

Firstly of course our credit goes to our very own family who keep supports our decision to getting married as early as now, still during study. Not forgotten to relatives too.

I would like to thanks to my best friends who always try to be there for me, helps me a lot during the bridezilla mode turn on and not giving up push me above when I'm down.

For more, to my very own cousin cum photographer, Haznuhairi a.k.a Unsight who kept bullying me of course, since you know how I will react towards it, you had captured my precious moments just like I want to. Well, you know me, right.

To the caterer, you guys really make my parents feel very satisfied with your service. Thanks Restoran Tuu Dia Pak Tam. I won't feel hesitate to hire this caterer next time.

Not forgotten, as for dais that my mum requested, it is from Sis Sha (De' Sentuhan Bridal).

Last but not least, to my lovely sister, Kak Noorein (Something Handmade by Nuie) who willing to sponsored me the felt's handbouquet, I am that speechless when she said that because it is handmade by herself. Thanks kak.

To all that involves, again, thank you very much for everything. Til then.

Review #7 : Handbouquet

Bismillahirahmanirahim. People always say handbouquet is bride's best buddy during this special event. It is a must to have. Yet for me, I don't even thought of it until one of my sister said that she want to sponsored it. It made of felts fabric. A simple but for me it really have it own means. Thanks kak =) Check it out;

Review #6 : Foods and Goodies

Bismillahirahmanirahim. For today, I would like to share the foods galore during my solemnization. It is by Tuu Dia Pak Tam Restaurant, Selayang. Why my dad chose them..? It is because they are near to my house and easy to deal with. Furthermore, their package affordable for us since it includes with canopy, table sets and all the stuffs needed during an occasion. It is handy for my parents since only two of them manage about this, so they could save their time for other things. Below are the arrangements made by the caterer.

For goodies, Alhamdulillah I managed to achieved on of my dream for my own solemnization. I gave Yassin to muslim adults. As for non, my mum decided to gave them a candle holder. Both of it include with two mini cupcakes. Not forgotten, kids, I gave them a bag full with their addiction, chocs, sweets and waffle =P Here some photo of the goodies.

Review #5 : Dais

Bismillahirahmanirahim. Dais..? Requested by my mum actually. She want to see her only daughter to have a proper solemnization (to avoid peoples' talk too). It been done by one of my cousin's friend. I choose white and grey in colours followed the theme. At first, I don't want the chair but my mum insist it for families portraits. During akad, we just use ottoman's pillows.

Review #4 : Hantaran

Bismillahirahmanirahim. Hantaran or gifts that exchanges between the bride and groom according to Malay's culture. Normally they will give in odd numbers. It may contain foods, clothes and etc.

At first we decided 5 by 7, yet since few aunts want to sponsored, it became 7 by 11. Quite a big number for me but I like it because most of it are foods that can shared with others. That is one of the reasons of marriage; sharing and family.

Here are the list of our hantaran;

From MIS to me :-

 Dowry and ring

 Tepak Sirih

 Fruits

 Book (Srikandi-Srikandi Yang Benar)

Handmade Chocolate

Chocolate Buttercream Cake

Telekung

From me to MIS :-

Book (Meraih Cinta di Langit Syurga)

Belts

Kain Pelikat

Potpurri

Candies

Pudding

Jelly-O

Body Care Set

Fruits

Tepak Sirih

Review #3 : The Ring and Dowry

Bismillahirahmanirahim. As all known, in Malaysia, some of the states had been specify the amount of dowry. As for my place, it is RM300 but MIS added it to became RM311 just followed my birth date *touched*. For the initial, he gave me a plain, simple gold ring as requested by me since I don't like to wear rings and golds. I feel insecure wearing a lot or many golds, quite dangerous nowadays.

As for MIS, he did not want any since in Islam is totally forbidden for men to wear it gold ring. Perhaps, Insya Allah I will replaced it with silver or stainless steel after this.

Dowry is a MUST from the husband for his wife

Just like me, simple =)

Review #2 : The Attire and Appearance

Bismillahirahmanirahim.

As to continue the previous review, here I want to share about what both of us wear during the solemnization.

MIS had bought a pair of embroidery Baju Melayu in antique gold colour at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman as there is one of the easier place to find it. For the head-ware, he just choose a plain black songkok and attached it with brooch. Last but not least, shoes. He bought black simple black shoes so that he can wear it during any occasion at varsity. Not forgetting, the samping in white colour and embroider with gold threads.

My Imaam and his bestfriend

Bismillah, arrived at the house

Alhamdulillah, recited doa by himself for ours

As for me, I also bought fabrics in gold colour from one of the boutique at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and send it to one of the tailor there too. It is a two pieces clothes in maxi dress type. I matched it with my own headscarf in the three tones colour and a veil that I rent from the tailor. Shoes..? One of my old favourite white heels.  Oh for my look, I just done it myself with the helped one of my BFF, a simple one. No fake eyelashes since it is forbidden in Islam. The henna I just wore the tube type, Rani if I'm not mistaken.

Been bullied with my cousin cum the photographer

Changed the way of wearing scarf from the normal one (Thanks BFFs)

Henna that I'd wore three days before Solemnization (Love the colour)

Full looks of our outfits

Til then. Another review Insya Allah will appear later.

Review #1 : Journey of the solemnization

Bismillahirahmanirahim. Here I want to emphasize, this blog is NOT a dream of bride-to-be's blog. It is plain boring story of my life since my solemnization just small occasion as mention before. It is just some people keep asking me to share what happened during that day. For more, it is not a crime to keep these memoirs here, right.

*****

Early in the morning, everyone in the house were getting ready for my big day. The catering came around 8am to prepare the tables, foods and all sorts of setting needed. As for me, I had been asked to check each and every single detail for final touch of reservation centerpiece's arrangement, goodies, hantaran and some others. After that, I had been chased away by my BFFs to prepare as a bride. I was like, is it the time now..? So sudden I felt my blood rushed off my face.

Around 11am, the MIS's families and of course with MIS arrived. After some forms checking by MIS and kadi, they called me came down for the ceremony. I said to myself, "Bismillahirahmanirahim, this is the time". All the eyes caught on me since almost all MIS's relatives have not met me yet. Then the kadi began to brief about how to akad and a bit of khutbah given.

Exactly at 11.53 am, I am legally married to MIS =) Alhamdulillah. Then MIS asked a permission to performed prayer with me. That was a first time he act as my Imam. Praised to Allah SWT, Who gave me the opportunity to be MIS's wife and Insya Allah until His Jannah.

*****

That's a bit of the story happened on that day. Insya Allah I will continue for the ring exchange ceremony as Malays call it Majlis membatalkan air sembahyang.

Pencerahan Tentang Pernikahanku...

Bismillahirahmanirahim. Beberapa orang hamba Allah telah menegur aku tentang video pernikahan aku. Menghela nafas yang panjang.

"Wah meriah nyeee. Kata buat kecil-kecilan je"
"Eh siap ada pelamin, khemah dan blah, blah, blah. Dah macam kenduri kahwin je"
"Aik ni kira dah kahwin terus ni. Sampai hati tak jemput"

Daaaan seribu satu macam dialog yang aku terima lagi. Sebelum ni aku mengambil keputusan untuk senyapkan sahaja perkara ni, tetapi kini aku terasa semua ni makin melampau. Kenapa aku berkata begitu..?

Berbalik kepada al-kisah pernikahan aku, disini aku perjelaskan bagi sesiapa yang mohon pencerahan tetang tersebut;

 1) Bukan kah sabda Rasulullah SAW, wajib menghebahkan perkahwinan..? Rujuk hadis riwayat Ahmad dari Abdullah bin Zubair R.A.

5) Aku adalah anak tunggal DAN perempuan. What did you expect me to say for more..?

Wassalam.

Two Months and Counting For More =)

Bismillahirahmanirahim. Syukur Alhamdulillah, I feel more bless since that day. I'm so sorry about the delay of any announcement about this. Yes, I have been married for two months but it is only a solemnization. Have not do the reception yet since that we are still in varsity and can not find suitable time for it. Insya Allah we will having it as soon as possible.

First of all, I want to thanks to each every person that involve within and during my solemnization day time frame. Perhaps I will review my solemnization, someday..?

A very special thanks to both of my parents, my husband's mum and siblings because allowed us to get married at this young age and still in study. Insya Allah, all the promises and wishes we will hold until our last breath.
